Warning Do not enable unless you know what you are doing. Dark frame calibration is almost always already complete.
Some cameras need a manual offset (libcamera) if darks are not applied.
Example: imx477 the offset is 4000 (full 16-bits)
Fix holes left by dark frame calibration (BETA)
Percentage of max ADU for fixing holes left by dark frames [default: 30%]

Bit depth of data returned by the camera

Image mask file for detection area. Must be a PNG
Central region to use for SQM calculations (not used if ROI defined)
SQM/Star Region of Interest
x1, y1
* Not used if Detection Mask is defined *
x2, y2

Apply CLAHE contrast enhancement
Increase value for more contrast
OpenCV CLAHE Tutorial
Perform CLAHE in 16-bit mode (early in order of operations)
Increase the clip limit in 16-bit mode by 3-4 times for similiar results
Warning Requires 2GB of RAM for images over 3000x1500 (for 16-bit mode)

Black level cutoff in standard deviations. Lower number results in greater dynamic range.

Default 0.0 - With 0.03 this gives a nice subtle effect
Values less than 0.5 enhances midtones, greater than 0.5 darkens midtones (0.5 results in the original image)
0.25 - 0.35 are good values to start
Default 1.0 - It is recommended not to adjust this setting

Color Filter Array/Bayer Pattern
SCNR algorithm to apply to reduce green bias in image
  • Average Neutral - Good colors Warning Can cause a magenta bias (especially during the day)
  • Maximum Neutral - Use this if you enable day time caputures
1.0 is disabled
Auto WB is applied after manual WB settings
1.0 is disabled. 1.5 is a good starting point
1.0 is disabled.

Apply colormap to show image flatness

Add additional boarder area to the image
Border color in R,G,B

These options are applied to the unprocessed image automatically
Image rotation options
Rotate by arbitrary angle (0 == disabled)
Combine with cropping and image circle mask to clean up image
Flip timelapse images vertically
Flip timelapse images horizontally

Number of images to be stacked
Method to use for image stacking
WarningHere be dragons
Align images before stacking.
Factor of background std-dev above which is considered a detection.
The maximum number of control point-sources to find the transformation.
Minimum number of connected pixels to be considered a source.

Diameter in pixels
Min: -180, Max: 180 - Image rotation for panorama
Increasing scale increases processing time

Note Disabling Cardinal Directions (Image Tab) will also disable here

Diameter in pixels
Image Circle Helper
Not Used - Use Lens offsets on Location Tab
Outline image circle. Opacity will be set to 0%.

File containing extra text for image

Pillow supports TrueType and OpenType fonts
Size may be overridden in template
Custom TrueType font

Font face for image metadata
Font size
Font thickness

Font height for row spacing
X coordinate to start writing metadata - Maybe overriden in template
Y coordinate to start writing metadata
Font color in R,G,B - May be overriden in template
Add black outline to text

Negative is offset from the right side of image (Not validated with image size)
Negative is offset from the bottom of image
Flipping Vertically and Horizontal should show view from Southern Hemisphere
Original Moon image is 400x400
Default: 0.4 - 0.0 would make the shaded area completely black

Negative is offset from the bottom of image
Offset from center
Default size: 1446 x 86 (including borders)
Color in R,G,B

Note Cardinal directions are based on the Azimuth for the Lens/Camera in the Location Tab
Font color in R,G,B
Blank to not show direction
Not Used - Use Lens offsets on Image Tab
Enable for debugging

Image circle in pixels. If you cannot see the edge of the image circle, just ensure this number is larger than the diagonal.
X Offset from center
Y Offset from center
Note This affects Cardinal directions
